Katelyn was raised in Portland, Maine and obtained her undergraduate education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During college she worked at Spring Harbor Hospital supporting adolescents with developmental disabilities. Before pursuing a career in medicine, Katelyn held a career as a drug discovery researcher for cancer therapeutics. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. Katelyn is excited to return to her home state and continue serving the pediatric population. Her interests include: spending time with family and friends and finding new ways to make them laugh, baking, fishing, and learning salsa dancing. In addition, she welcomes any opportunity to explore Maine’s outdoors and discover local eateries.
