Sweetser Services

Behavioral Health Consultants from Sweetser and Pediatric Associates providers have partnered with one another in an effort to offer increased access to care, with improved patient and provider satisfaction.

A Sweetser Behavioral Health Specialist and a Sweetser Health Navigator have established offices onsite at Pediatric Associates. They are accessible to meet with patients and parents whenever a Pediatric Associates provider feels it is in the best interest of the patient. Pediatric Associates providers and their staff will initiate a referral to the Sweetser Behavioral Health Specialist and/or the Sweetser Case Manager. These healthcare professionals will then contact the parent and their family with information about their services. Sweetser social workers help families cope with mounting social issues, emotional or behavioral difficulties, and complicated treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses. These Sweetser social workers also provide focused feedback to Pediatric Associates providers with succinct, action oriented recommendations that help effectively manage patients’ needs.
